Punjab National Bank 775 Management Trainees Recruitment Final Results

Subject:Punjab National Bank has released final results for its recruitment of 775 Management Trainees as invited in the month of January 2012. The applications were made by Candidates qualified in IBPS PO CWE and Interviews were recently held in June 2012.

After a few days of Interviews (Interviews on June 18 - 23), results have been announced and PNB has made the processing really fast while other banks take normally up to one month for announcing final results.

However, the vacancies were initially announced to be 775 but the bank has now issued list of only 317 finally selected management trainees. You may see the List from here.

No info has yet been made available about cut-off marks set by the bank and dates of joining. We expect similar announcements in the days to come.

Further, candidates that attended the PNB interviews reported much less candidates had attended than total 2565 that were shortlisted. We think its because many of those shortlisted have already joined any of other banks.

The problem of Multiple selections of single candidate seems to have stretched out to these PNB final results also as many candidates appearing in PNB Select list are already selected by other banks.

 

Bond/Probationary Period : -

Finally selected Candidates will have to sign a Bond for probation period of Three years for the sum of Rs. 2 Lakhs.
